Fontaine Professional Watercolour Paper

Fontaine is a professional grade watercolour paper. It is a natural white 100% cotton paper that is gelatin sized with a minimum weight of 300gsm. It is made by the Dutch Schut Mill which has been making papers since 1618. Fontaine is available in five grades being:

- Hot Pressed, Very Smooth;
- Semi Hot Pressed, Smooth, Not Slippery;
- Cold Pressed, Medium Light Grain;
- Rough, Course Grain;
- Cloud Texture, Rough, Irregular and Undulating.

Large sheets are denoted with an  L. There is a 5 sheet minimum for the large sheets. You can mix any colours or brands to reach the five sheet minimum.
