There are seven different Pastelmat pads each of which has 12 sheets interlaced with glassine paper. The seven pads are available in 3 sizes, 18x24cm, 24x30cm and 30x40cm. Apart from the white and anthracite versions, all of the pads contain 3 sheets each of 4 colours.

Pastelmat combines the advantages of both the velour and the sanded paper surfaces to create an almost flat paper that can take and easily hold multiple layers of pastel. The paper has a very pleasant touch and as the surface is not pronounced it allows for precise details and delicate veils whilst also having the ability to grab and hold multiple layers of colour.
